My name is Henrik Joergensen and I live in Victoria, BC.
In 1982 I finished my education as a blacksmith in Denmark.
For over 30 years, I worked as a plant manager in the pharmaceutical industry with responsibility for building and machinery repairs and maintenance.
Throughout my life, I have renovated houses in my free time and have experience in most trades.
In 2016, I relocated from Denmark to Canada with my wife, who is a professor at Royal Roads University. Before retiring, I worked for a land development company here on the island. Since starting my business in Victoria, I have built several wooden decks and stairs, installed gutters, installed windows and doors, repaired siding, installed fireplace fans, and completed many other projects. I have developed a strong local network of people I trust, so I am able to bring in licensed professionals as needed.
My wife and I are now happy to be Canadian citizens and we intend to be here for the rest of our lives.
We love Vancouver Island and feel very much at home here.
I have an “old-school philosophy” in everything I do. That means my word and handshake have value. If I say I will be there on a certain date at a specific time, you can count on it. Also, unless anything unforeseeable arises while I am completing a project for you, you can count on my quoted estimate. My estimates are also fair and reasonable.
I have always liked to help people, so let me give you a hand with your next project, small or large. I am ready, willing and able!
